Founded under the patronage of the Erode Educational Trust and located at Veppampalayam, about 8 km west of Erode bus stand and railway junction. Recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu, affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the AICTE, New Delhi.

About the institute
The college began modestly with a small intake in the Degree in Pharmacy and has grown steadily since. It now offers D.Pharm, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, Pharm.D [PB], M.Pharm across seven specialisations and Ph.D.
Teaching is supported by smart classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled projectors, a central instrumentation room, an English communication lab, a central library with digital archives and open-access e-resources, and a CPCSEA-approved central animal house established in 2017.
